 Summer is heating up, which means it’s time for the DAY OF THE HOG/ JULY HEAT POKER RUN.  The big event is this Saturday, July 19 at Dillon Brothers on 174^th & Maple.  You can pre-register through Friday, July 18 at the Omaha store and save $5 off your registration fee, or register the day of the event from 9 to noon for $30.   Your poker run registration also gets you into the Street Dance in Valley, NE.  And as always, all bikes are welcome.

 There will be 5 live bands throughout the afternoon and evening, and downtown of Valley becomes party central.  And don’t forget to buy your $10 raffle ticket to win one of the coolest bikes around, a blacked out 2008 Nightster.  We will award the bike on Saturday evening.  If you can’t make the ride, or want some friends to join you for the Street Dance, adults can gain admission for just a $10 donation per person.

Saturday night July 12th in Jefferson, IA I am putting on a race for our local fair. I got the track all done. Payout is 100% plus $150. Practice starts @ 4:30 Races @ 6:00. We are expecting a full grandstand so come on out and put on a show. If we get enough intrest out of the riders and fans we will be having another one in a month. So come on out and put on a good show for these guys so I can keep this thing going for you guys. We are having bikes, quads and side x sides.

On Saturday July 12th, KTM and BAK are going to have a demo ride for their motocross and enduro bikes right here at Fiddler Creek MX Park. This venture is supported by both BAK KTM and corporate KTM. Come on out and have a chance to ride one of these machines for yourself. Hours for the demo ride are from 12:00 noon to 6:00pm.

The Danny J. Benefit Ride, which had been scheduled for May 31 has now been rescheduled for June 28-29, 2008. The event will be held in conjunction with a Saturday night race at Soaring Edge Motocross Park, sponsored by www.theoilmart.com and Amsoil.
During intermission on Saturday night, an auction will be held to raise money for the family of Danny Janulewicz, whose home was lost to fire recently. Items up for auction include a Chad Reed jersey, Jeremy McGrath jersey, Doug Henry 1993 #1 jersey (signed), Brian Deegan X-games T-shirt (signed) and other giveaways provided by local sponsors.
On Sunday, all proceeds from practice fees will be donated by the track to the family. Hamburgers and hot dogs will be provided free of charge, courtesy of www.theoilmart.com and Storm Lake Honda. Red Bull will be in attendance to help support the cause.
The Oil Mart-sponsored riders Ricky Draper and Travis Hodges have both committed to race the Saturday night event. Don’t miss this chance to see a great shoot out and help a fellow motocrosser at the same time. The “Right Here” Adventure Television Show features Carl Edwards and Kenny Edwards brother battle at I-80 Speedway last year.
If you are a NASCAR Fan you know who Carl Edwards is. His brother Kenny races at I-80 at every event they hold there, again this year July 13th and 14th Carl and Kenny will be battling it out once again for brother bragging rights. This TV Show also features video from the Soaring Edge Motocross track with footage from practice and several races from the 2007 Season.
