Here are some pictures from an area Private Track location disclosed.Yes here we go again a first time with the new camera. Well this time it was overcast and well the pictures definatly need improvement. With the right amount of sun I am getting great shots. So basically I need some extra lenses to match the conditions. Either way I enjoyed meeting some new people and taking pictures as usual.
So Thanksgiving is over but the family and friends are still in town through out the weekend, so why not ride. Well that's exactly what some of those in attendance did today, they took the kids out for some old fashioned fun at a local private track. We had # 613 Reece Shannon on a Yamaha Raptor 80 4-wheeler ( His number is not currently on the vehicle but he is the only rider on a 4-wheeler in these pictures) Then we had Zach Shannon #789 riding a KTM 50SX. There was no question he was having fun and on top of that he was riding some of the really technical sections very well. He may be a beginner but he was showing his true potential through the woops. Then we had Jade Blizek #1 on the Honda 50, when I arrived I noticed Jade right away he was riding the entire track with ease. There are some really big jumps, some really big up hills and steep faces and to top it off some really fast racers on the track with him. Jade was riding the track with little effort and was definitely enjoying himself as he should there is nothing like riding a dirtbike.
Next we have Baies Turcato #287 on a Yamaha YZ85 from Wyoming out enjoying the weather with the rest of us. When I was asking him his name he told it to me and then he said to me "I'm not that good of a rider though." I asked him if he was having fun, and with a smile he said "Yeah!"
I told him "As long as your having fun then your doing great." after watching him for a while he was definitely being modest. He was better than he was letting on, as I noticed he was cornering with the correct form, he was on the gas and he was looking in the right direction. He had some really good corner speed and most important he was enjoying himself.
It was great meeting these guys, they take me back to when I was their age and really enjoyed trying to capture them in this moment in time, and I am happy to display their pictures on my website. You guys need to remember all you have to do Keep on having fun, then it doesn't matter who is faster or who is better, only that YOU are enjoying your self. Keep up the good riding and just have fun.....
