It gets dark early this time of year and squeezing in a few extra minutes here and there to ride on a weekday is really tough, especially when you have to drive 20 to 30 minutes to go for a quick practice session. Today was no exception. About 4pm I got the call "Were going for a quick practice, can you make it." Who am I to say no when it comes to taking pictures. So I had to run home and get the camera and make the 25 minute drive from my house to the private track, and the whole way there I am thinking to my self, "Am I going to make it?" Then I was thinking about shooting in near dark conditions. Shoot this is the 6th time using this new camera and I really want to get some good shots. So I am thinking about what settings I need to use, and I was messing with the adjustments all the way there so I didn't have to do it at the track.
So the result is the pictures you see here. I admit they are not what I was hoping for but considering the circumstance I believe I got some OK shots. Most of all I learned some things today with the camera and over all I am some what pleased with the results. Shoot this is the first time using it with virtually no light.
Ricky Draper was really laying it down, and was putting in a really good session, his only mishap today was for the most part my fault. I asked him to really lay it down and charge in a turn for me, and well he did exactly that eating a little dirt in the process , Se we moved on, and he just continued to ride the track.
Well Ricky Good Luck in the upcoming races and I hope you like the Pictures. I only got 27 that were worth showing so Next time I will give you at least 2 or 3 hundred good ones
