A cool and blustery day made for a light turnout at round 3 of the USMRR series. Wind gusts of 30mph made for interesting racing conditions. F1
Nate Lentz continues to dominate the F1 class. Leading all 12 laps to secure a 1st place finish. F2
Brian Naylor grabbed the hole shot from his pole position on his Speed Moto Co prepped KX65, extending his lead to just over 2 seconds at the halfway point.
Kinzer Naylor started to reel in the leader, closing the gap on lap 10 and making his move going into corner 4, setting the class record in
the process. Kinzer held on to the lead and took the victory in the F2 class.
F3
Brian Naylor once again took the hole shot from the pole and looked to have his first main victory of the day. Kinzer was in hot pursuit running down the leader, only to end the race .167 seconds short of the line.
F4
Kinzer Naylor took over the 3rd position from Paul Prentice to start the second lap, running there until the finish.
Paul Prentice had an excellent day of racing, running in 3rd for a bit and finally settling on a fourth place for the day. Paul continues
to improve and turned in this fastest lap so far this year (46.sec).
Nick Mathers ran fifth in the race during his first race with the series . Aaron Kauffman rounding out the top six of the day, continuing to lower his lap times as he gets the Kawi set up properly.
